Side, 75 km east of Antalya, is today an important tourist centre, a place that in Roman times served as the backdrop for the meetings between Marc Antony and Cleopatra. Alanya, 115 km east of Antalya, is another place to go to go to the seaside along the coast.

Cirali Beach: Separated from Olympos by a rock, Çıralı is one of the most beautiful bays on the entire Mediterranean coast, mainly due to the presence of ancient Hellenic ruins. It is famous for its impressive rocks and white pebble beach.
Olympos: Olympos beach is probably one of the most famous beaches in Turkey. It lies along Mount Olympos and is a piece of paradise dotted with ancient sites, old roads, vegetation and natural wonders.
Konyaaltı Beach: Konyaaltı Beach is located near Antalya. Free and open to the public, this beach is crowded at least until the end of October. If you stay in the city, it is definitely a good option to enjoy some sea.
Phaselis: To reach this beach you will necessarily have to rent a car. The bay is located north of Olympos.
The ruins of Phaselis, an ancient Greek and Roman city, are divided into three small bays where you can swim in the incredibly clear waters.
Lara Beach: If you prefer sand, Lara Beach is the perfect place for you. Along this immense expanse you can enjoy water sports or have a drink in one of the many establishments.
Patara Beach: Voted one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Patara Beach is characterised by a 12 km long white sandy shore, the habitat of Caretta Caretta turtles. It is located near Kalkan and Kaş and is believed to have been the birthplace of Apollo.
Sorgun Plajı: This incredible beach is located along the route of the Manavgat Waterfall. A path of about 6 km will lead you to this delightful piece of paradise.
Damlataş Beach: Located in the eastern part of Cleopatra Beach, Damlataş Beach is one of the best beaches for snorkelling. There is also a cave here, which was discovered by accident in 1948, during the construction of a port in the southern city of Antalya.
Phaselis Beach: Phaselis is not only a beach but also a site of ancient ruins. The beach is located in the northern town of Tekirova in the district of Kemer and has a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean coastline.
